To achieve the all natural-looking patinas and textures on this fountain, the artist had to pound it with a variety of different hammers, run back and forth over it with my Kubota, twist it into weird contortions, then untwist it, shoot it repeatedly with special bullets, heat it, quench it, then hit it with strange chemicals. All that work just to get the "look" of something you'd find in a magical copper mine.
